Day 1: Avoid contact with your freshly done brows to avoid introducing bacteria. 4 hours after your appointment, gently clean your brows using provided solution on a cotton pad. Follow with a damp cotton pad to remove any soap residue, dry, and apply a thin layer of provided ointment with a clean q-tip.

Days 2-7: Repeat cleaning and ointment step morning and night. Be sure to keep your ointment layer very sheer.

For the first 7-10 days, do not submerge your brows in water, steam, or allow a direct stream of water to hit them. This will soften the scabs and cause premature peeling, which can result in loss of pigment. Use provided visors in the shower, and use washcloths to cleanse face while avoiding your healing brows.

Sleep on a fresh pillowcase and if possible, avoid side-sleeping while brows are healing. Using a travel neck pillow is helpful for this. Avoid swimming until completely healed. Avoid excessive sweating and exercise for the first week.

Your brows may start to peel and flake. Do not scratch or pull off any scabs. This can cause uneven pigment and scarring. Allow the scabs to lift out on their own. Pigment may appear lighter during this stage of healing but will "bloom" again once skin is fully healed. Any pigment that may fall out will be replaced in the second session. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions.

The most important things about caring for healing brows are keeping clean and dry, resisting scratching and picking, and protecting from sunlight. Please be aware that for the first few days, your brows will appear much darker and will look thicker as they prepare to scab. This is temporary.
